We're back from our mid-year team adventure, and we've got some great stories to share!
Our team got together for a much-anticipated trip to the Sydney Royal National Park and Cronulla. Who would not want a learning adventure about local flora, fauna, First Nations heritage all while building team culture? Experience highlights were undoubtedly the lunch experience, boomerang throwing and the after party by the beachside!
The Royal National Park in Sydney was a great place to spend the day, exploring and soaking up the natural beauty. We explored the park on foot, taking in the sights and sounds of the bushland. It was a great opportunity to get out and explore, while also getting some exercise and bonding with our colleagues. We were able to experience lots of team activities as well as learning about local flora, fauna and the history of the Dharawal people, the traditional landowners of the park and surrounding areas.
A highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the Iron Chef cooking challenge lunch! We all did our best to come up with something unique from a selection of mystery ingredients to be served up by us in a delicious way!
We also spent time at the beach as well as going boomerang throwing together. They're easy to use and they're fun!
We ended the day with a great sunset before heading to have a delicious dinner at Sealevel. We spent the rest of the evening dancing and having fun with our friends at Northies. Then it was off to Rydges Beachside Cronulla for an overnight stay!
The next morning, we woke up bright eyed and bushy tailed with our bellies full of a breakfast cooked by Aldo from Masterchef before we headed home! This experience was one of a kind and we can’t wait to start planning our next one!
